Please tell me all about your agency and what makes it unique?
Instead of trying to build out our own direct clients, we supply white label software and marketing services to other agencies to brand as their own. Given the higher operational costs in the US, most white label marketing companies are based overseas which creates complications for USA-based resellers. However, with the aid of AI, comprehensive automation, and large-scale operations, we deliver what few can: an efficient, dependable, and refined USA-based white label marketing service.
Can you describe your journey to becoming an agency owner?
I noticed that many small businesses couldn't afford quality SEO software and services. This realization ignited my passion to help them, leading me to establish a platform that made marketing solutions both accessible and affordable.
What do your clients like most about your agency?
Our clientele, primarily marketing agencies, appreciate the efficacy, affordability, and reliability of our services. Instead of just outsourcing SEO tasks to a typical contractor, they get access to a streamlined, dependable service they can trust to consistently deliver on its promises.
Let’s face it, agencies are a dime a dozen. How do you make your agency stand out?
Merchynt offers premium white label marketing solutions at incredibly competitive rates, made possible by our significant investments in automation and AI.
If you could pick your dream brand to become one of your clients, which brand would that be?
Our passion lies in uplifting the underdogs. We find immense satisfaction in aiding small business owners and budding digital marketers who are venturing into entrepreneurship.
What would you say are the top 3 strategies used by your agency to land new clients?
Over the past four years, we've dedicated substantial efforts to enhance our organic SEO, which has yielded amazing returns. Secondly, we've actively sought reviews on Trustpilot from our satisfied clients, bolstering our online reputation which helps convert more leads into clients & partners. Lastly, by offering exceptional support to our partners and clients, we have witnessed a surge in word-of-mouth referrals, leading to increased leads.
What works best when it comes to retaining clients at your agency?
Our focus remains on delivering top-notch services at unbeatable prices. Consistency in these areas naturally results in reduced churn.
What are some of the pain points you experience as an agency owner?
The basic dynamics of running a marketing agency can be painful. At times, we might lose a client either due to unmet short-term expectations or because we've achieved their goals so effectively that they no longer require our assistance. Each loss, regardless of the reason, is painful.
What advice do you have for someone who is just now starting their agency?
Forge close relationships with your clients and continuously find new ways to assist them. Genuine efforts to help clients succeed will not only cement your relationship but also lead to referrals. While acquiring your first client might be challenging, nurturing that relationship can pave the way for many more.
Can you think of a time in your agency journey when you made a mistake and learned from it? Please explain.
In our pursuit of perfection, we often experiment, inevitably leading to occasional failures. However, we view each setback not as a dead-end but as a stepping stone towards our ultimate goal.
Looking ahead, what do you think will change about the agency landscape in 2024?
I anticipate AI playing an even more dominant role in agency operations, given the efficiencies and opportunities it presents.
